The esela Annual Conference 2020 will not go ahead in April due to coronavirus
With the impact of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) increasingly felt across the globe, we have made the difficult decision that the esela Annual Conference in London will not go ahead on 27-28 April 2020.
The health and safety of conference delegates and speakers has been our primary concern in reaching the conclusion not to proceed with the conference in April. This decision comes after an assessment of the implications of the COVID-19 outbreak for our international event, and in the knowledge that many of you will be confirming travel to attend the conference in London in the coming weeks.
We are grateful to the participants whose energy and vision has helped shaped the agenda, and to delegates who have planned to attend the conference.
Delegates who purchased tickets for the Annual Conference or Side Events will receive a full refund. Details of the process and timings for registration refunds can be found here.
During this challenging time, we are thankful for your understanding and support as we reshape our plans for the year ahead.
Not to be able to meet with you and to share our programme of topics and speakers in April is a disappointment. We are actively exploring ways to share our agenda on the topic of 'The Impact of Business in a Changing Climate' later in the year, through in-person and virtual events.
We are inviting members and prospective members to participate in building this community with us. If your firm is interested in hosting an aspect of the conference after the summer, as a standalone event or as part of a rescheduled conference, get in touch.
We will share news of our events by email as soon as plans are confirmed, and will update our events website with details.
