Practising Law in a Climate and Ecological Emergency – Initial Gathering
Join us for an introductory hour’s conversation exploring the questions:
- What is the best we could do, as lawyers, to help ensure we keep increases in global temperatures below 2°C
- What are the obstacles to doing that?
- How might we overcome them?
This event is intended for lawyers across all practice areas and at all levels, who want to face up to the climate emergency in their work. The conversation will be hosted by David Hunter, Consultant at Bates Wells and member of esela’s UK Impact Lawyer group.
Given we will only begin to scratch the surface, this event will assess the appetite for coming together periodically (6-8 weeks) to look at the question in more depth.

This event will be in English and is free to attend.
